Ein Blick in die Square Konferenz von gestern lohnt sich. Da gabs neben den Trailern auch ne längere Gameplay Sequenz inklusive Bosskampf. Und das schaut richtig gut aus

Speaking to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, Final Fantasy VII Remake director Yoshinori Kitase could not say how many games the remake project will consist of “because we don’t know ourselves.”
Kitase added that the development team is currently in the process of planning out the scope for the second game while simultaneously finishing up the development of the first game.
Part one of the Final Fantasy VII Remake, which spans two Blu-ray discs and covers all of Midgar, is due out for PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020.

Sorry, aber das ist doch ein schlechter Witz. Da zahle ich 60€ Vollpreis für ein Spiel bzw. für die erste Episode, ohne zu wissen, wie viele Episoden überhaupt kommen und wann sie erscheinen werden. Am Ende zahle ich für das volle "Final Fantasy VII Remake"-Erlebnis bei vier Episoden 240 Gil oder was? Nö, nö...

Ich finds ok. Hier wird sich doch eh immer beschwert das gerade Rollenspiele viel zu lang sind. Das Remake wird sicher seine dreissig bis vierzig Stunden Spielzeit haben, die Story wird ein schönes Ende mit Cliffhanger haben und dann freut man sich zwei Jahre aufs nächste Spiel.
