zu verstehst mich anscheinend noch nicht ganz:

klar sind tests irgendwie subjektiv geschrieben, aber wenn eine person diesen schreibt, der sachen wie uncoole agypter als negativpunkt mit einfliessen lässt, dann stellen sich bei mir mehr als nur die fussnägel hoch ;)

oja hab dich schon verstanden, aba du anscheinend die GS nicht.

Glaube kaum das die test-gruppe diesen kritikpunkt in der endsitzung (wertung) miteinfließen haben lassen, das wär ja dann echt niveau-los ;) .

Der Meinungskasten hebt sich vom test durch das graue layout ab, und da darf halt jeder reinschreiben was er will ;) . War vllt nicht wirklich konstruktiv, aber seine persönliche meinung...

Das test-ergebnis war doch eh ziemlich ähnlich mit anderen mags oda?

naja aber der haupttester (auch derjenige der den testkasten schreibt) hat den größten anteil am review, die anderen diskutieren nur ein wenig über evtl. streitpunkte, aber tragen nicht wirklich viel dazu bei ;)

jo die wertungen in anderen mags (pcg, pca, etc.) waren vergleichbar hoch, der punkt war nur der redakteur, die wertung geht imo völlig in ordnung

Coinciding with the release of this free campaign, Ensemble Studios also unveiled a new version of ES Online, the Web site that accompanies the game's online matchmaking service.

The Golden Gift follows the adventures of Brokk and Eitri, two dwarven brothers featured in the original Age of Mythology Fall of the Trident campaign. This four-scenario campaign follows the brothers' first encounter with the god Loki and features all-new voice acting by the original actors. The Golden Gift, a prequel to the original campaign, is available for download at the official Age of Mythology site (http://www.microsoft.com/games/ageofmythology/) or ES Online (http://www.eso.com/).

Using familiar elements of classical mythology, Age of Mythology casts players as one of nine unique civilizations from ancient Greek, Norse and Egyptian mythologies. Players can reinforce their armies with mythological creatures like Cyclopes and Medusas or call upon the mighty powers of gods such as Zeus to rain down lightning bolts on unsuspecting enemies. Age of Mythology also incorporates Ensemble Studios' trademark features from previous Age of Empires games, including a compelling economic model, a massive army and battle system, unequaled artificial intelligence, random maps, intuitive gameplay and extreme attention to detail.

Age of Mythology expansion coming

Ensemble Studios announces an expansion pack for its popular RTS that will add a fourth faction, new units, and new scenarios.

Microsoft and Ensemble have announced Age of Mythology: The Titans, an upcoming expansion pack that will let Age of Mythology players ally with the ancient Titan gods Atlas and Cronus. The Titans adds a fourth side, the Atlanteans, to the existing balance between the Greeks, Egyptians, and Norse. The first screenshot from the expansion shows that it should live up to its name, with some giant-sized units.

In addition to 12 new god powers, 10 new mythological units, and 18 new human units, Atlantean players will benefit from being able to use Titan god powers multiple times (instead of just once, like the existing factions), and they will also be able to upgrade human units to hero status. To provide some context for the Atlanteans' struggle, The Titans will add 12 new single-player scenarios.

Age of Mythology: The Titans is currently due out this fall. It will require the original game to play, and it will also be playable through Ensemble's ESO multiplayer service. Expect more details on the expansion in the coming weeks.

Sorry fürs Brüllen, aber das imo beste RTS Game bekommt Nachwuchs. Geeeeeiiiiillll! :anim:
 
ich hatte jetzt kein bock das ganze thread zu durchstöbern und ich weiss nich ob das ein bug ist aber wenn ich AoM starte dann startet der MANCHMAL einfach neu ! Liegt das am game oder an meinem pc :confused:

Erscheint am 4. September 2024 für PC und Xbox. Das es auch für Konsole kommt, finde ich spannend. Das Original war damals, selbst für einen Non PC-Zocker wie mich, einer meiner liebsten PC-Titel und vor allem im LAN ein Dauerbrenner.
